Ingrid Campos Castro

I was born and raised in Costa Rica. I came to the United States about 12 years ago and have lived and been actively involved in the Boulder County community ever since. I am a single mother to a 17-year-old. I have studied, worked, and volunteered thanks to the abundance and generosity of this city. I have grown as a person because of these opportunities. I continue to learn and grow with the family that has welcomed me to this country. One of my dreams is to have the stability and resources to care for my parents, continue growing with my son, and live a simple and fulfilling life. I am pursuing my formal education at Metropolitan University of Denver and will continue learning until the end of my days. I am fascinated by animals and plants, but what fills my heart most is the generosity and human capacity to do good.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Join us to learn about the origins and uses of this 5-point auricular acupuncture protocol. We will explore how this protocol has been used as a community healing method through this simple yet effective approach. Born from the social justice movement, this protocol uses Traditional Chinese Medicine as its foundation to restore physical and mental well-being. It has been used effectively for managing stress and anxiety in our community and around the world.
