REVOLUTIONIZING WOMEN'S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING WITH A COMPREHENSIVE JUSTICE APPROACH

Revolutionizing women's health and well-being with a comprehensive justice approach involves addressing and transforming inequalities from a perspective that combines human rights, gender equality, and social justice.

Historically, health systems have perpetuated structural inequalities based on gender, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, and geographic location. This has had a significant impact on access to and the quality of comprehensive healthcare.

At this summit, we will discuss how transforming women's health and well-being is an urgent necessity and an act of historical justice.

We understand that well-being goes beyond simply not being sick. It means having the right to a dignified, autonomous life, free from violence and in harmony with our environment.

We also recognize the multiple barriers that many women face in accessing health services, such as racism, poverty, forced displacement and other forms of exclusion, which put them at greater risk of becoming ill and hinder their access to adequate care.

Transforming women's health not only benefits women themselves, but also has a positive impact on families, communities, and society as a whole.

When women are healthy and empowered, the entire social network flourishes.

We look forward to seeing you at the University of Colorado, UMC Boulder
