Dr. Olga Vera

Dr. Olga Vera is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 26 years of experience serving a diverse community of people of all ages, experiences, and lifestyles.

She is also a gifted medical guide, meditation teacher, and facilitator of shamanic retreats and practices. Dr. Vera combines traditional and non-traditional modalities for the healing benefits of her clients. She is an expert in trauma, and her approaches are directly focused on trauma relief. Dr. Vera trained with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and recently completed a Psychedelic Facilitation Certificate program with Berkeley. https://om-vera.com/

 

 

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

In this workshop, we will learn about recent research related to medicinal plants and their healing potential. We will explore the brief history of psychedelic medicinal plants from a traditional and indigenous perspective on trauma healing. We will learn about their ceremonial and ritual uses.

The objectives of this learning are:

1) Understand the history of psychedelics and other medicinal plants.

2) To learn about the latest research on the therapeutic use of psychedelics.

3) To know the history of the traditional and indigenous perspective on trauma healing.

4) Understanding how ceremonies and rituals are used when entering a psychedelic experience with medicinal plants.
